3 alpha-Methyl-p-tyrosine pretreatment reduced c-fos expression stimulated by amphetamine (2 mg/kg) in the dorsomedial and dorsolateral caudate-putamen while reserpine pretreatment reduced it only in the dorsolateral caudate-putamen.
