Enables transcription cis-regulatory region binding activity and transcription coregulator binding activity. Involved in several processes, including aflatoxin catabolic process; positive regulation of macromolecule metabolic process; and regulation of cell migration. Located in cytoplasm and nucleus. Used to study several diseases, including diabetic retinopathy; liver cirrhosis; middle cerebral artery infarction; non-alcoholic fatty liver disease; and visual epilepsy. Biomarker of several diseases, including extrahepatic cholestasis; kidney failure (multiple); neurodegenerative disease (multiple); non-alcoholic steatohepatitis; and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
